what's even better is when you don't have someone help you with the colors... I do a lot of art and am also colorblind. Every now and then I get someone who asks me if I really meant to choose those colors or mix them that way.
There's a big difference between being colorblind and colorstupid. I'm the first (rare for women), and I ask for help when matching colors of which I am uncertain so as to avoid the second.
Look up the South Asian holiday of Holi to see what this sweater was aiming for. It missed.
"Look up the South Asian holiday of Holi to see what this sweater was aiming for. It missed." I think it is dead-on for the North asian holiday of "Holi-shit"!
I'm a thirteen-year-old hippie, and I hate this sweater. The yarn is lovely. I would make a scarf, socks, an afghan, a hat from this yarn. The sweater would be ugly no matter WHAT yarn you knit it in.
This reminds me of the curtains and duvet colours in my residence last year, not in actual similarity, but in the monstrosity of colours. The former has been described as being so painful to look at that residents give up on trichromatic vision, whilst the latter is a nasty accident in the paint factory. This atrocity is just as painful to look at, but, rather than a paint factory explosion, must be an explosion of brains, making pretty colours and a complete lack of sense.
I agree that it could be nice as socks, scarf, etc. but a sweater is just too much.

Lesson learned -- never wear a sweater when your boyfriend wants to shoot some paintball
Gaaaaah, my retinas!
Puts Joseph's Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat to shame. :)
I really like that, actually. I love noro kureyon!
I don't even think a hippie would wear that.
That sweater shames Jerry Garcia.
Holy crap, that is my 6yo's dream sweater. I must not let her see this page. (though I'd go for those colors on socks)

I think this MIGHT work as socks or gloves...but as a sweater, just too much.
Does anyone else feel like the stitch pattern looks like a really wrinkly vagina?

steel breeze, I don't think that's Kureyon. I don't think Mr. Noro would let a rainbow monstrosity like that out the door.
Wozer! Doing a little blog walking and found my way here from Little Knitter's page.
I actually sorta like the sweater, but think it might make a really cool ghan...all that color.
I've always wondered, if like in this case, I'm leaving you a comment on your blog, not your current blog.......how do you see it, do you see it?
Stop in for a visit. Welcome mats out and I plan to pour wine around 5

Is this tie-dye gone insane?

I actually like the colors. But I'm apparently shaming Jerry Garcia. Awesome!
